The topic I chose was same-sex marriage. I wanted to know more about this because am in a relationship with a women and when I heard about same-sex marriage and how they are banning this right for gays just cause it's not normal to those who disagree on same sex relationship, I decided to look up for information on the matter.

Blog Reflection 5

My online experience was awesome. I had a lot of fun taking this course sometimes I wish I had took this class on a semester class either then a summer class I've would've learned more from the class. This class was not bad and not hard but at times It felt like a lot but only because I had to work and sometimes I didn't have the time or I didn't feel like being on the computer for hours of the time. I didn't have any interaction with anyone but that doesn't bother me because even if I would be in the class I probably wouldn't talk to anyone unless they talked to me first. I've took a online class before but it was to hard for me so it didn't work for me am glad that this course isn't hard because hard classes should be for people who are focus in school or that advanced in computers. I do think online learning is great for library research courses. I wouldn't have came to a workshop course because if it's not mandatory then I just wouldn't go unless I had nothing to do or work to go to.

Information competency is a place where you can find information or navigates your search. I do believe that information competency is important to have in our life's because for people who use the Internet they sometimes need to find things or get information that will be useful for them. I do believe that am becoming more and more of an information competent student just by taking this course. I know now more then I've ever knew at the Internet and how to find or search things on the Internet. I will improve more on how to search things and how to look in the right place for information that I may need or have.

It's been a good journey with this class. I've learned so much in so little time. Library 3 has gave me so much info about how to look for information on the web and how to look for things or books in the library. I've enjoyed every single thing that you have taught me in your course. I know now how to not get fooled by websites that are trying to sale me things or get me to help them get money from my account. I still need to keep learning how to look for certain sites. After am done with this course I will still be using some of your techniques that you have taught me and maybe I will be better in do time.

I've learned more in 3 weeks of this course then what I knew on my own. This class has taught me so much. Its a great class and I enjoyed every assignment given. I learned how to read and understand the big red book and how to do a blog on my own. I've have also learned that there are many sites that can be fake and well have you fooled. Thanks to this knowledge of fake website I will look twice at the site thoroughly and make sure not to fall for everything on the Internet. I believe that libraries are very helpful to many people because not everyone knows what to look for on the Internet and sometimes the Internet doesn't give out the information that you need unless you knew where to look. i Internet has a big role in my life because sometimes if I needed to find something or get something or information I could find it on the Internet.
